Poisoned arrow softly piercing my heart
With poetry
Watching the sunrise
My eyes closing fast
Swallowed by the sea
- Hooverphonic / Music Box
Taken in Brugge/Bruges, Belgium, one fine winter day, with the ever-crap kit lens (FA J 18-35mm f3.5-5.6).
I had to sharpen the hell out of it. Sorry.
I've been dealing with too much poetry lately (but it paid off !), and it's starting to show. How ?
Well: poetry > Shakespeare > other works > plays > A Midsummer Night's Dream > adapt to picture > there you go.

Don't! Don't let it go to your head
Boys like you are a dime a dozen,
Boys like you are a dime a dozen.
She said;
You're a touch overrated,
You're a lush and I hate it
But these grass stains on my knees
They won't mean a thing!
Brugge!
This picture is exactly what I needed to see today..The weather outside is eugh, terrible, muddy and wet, and cold..I wish I could step into the photograph and spend the day there.
The bridge in the backgroud is captured perfectly!

i'd like to be god and manipulate elements like i want to have a perfect setup for my photos!
not being a godess, you still manage to have a great photo. title fits well. and the bridge makes a lot in this "dreamy state". maybe because of one popular representation of what a dream could be. it's not the sun, not the light, not the tree, it's just the bridge. "like a bridge over trouble water"
talking about sharpness, the green spot in the sun betrays the "hell out of it" post work

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
